Hire Costumes

Of course many people still love to hire a good quality original costume and receive some excellent advice from our friendly staff. Our rental business has gone from strength to strength over the last few years and we cater for most age groups and sizes. Our store is clean and spacious with good access for the disabled not to mention very well stocked with a wide range of costumes.

Why not look through some examples of our superb costumes and don’t forget, we probably stock the widest range of accessories in our area. All you need for a great night out !!

Regretfully, this is a local service and we are unable to take orders via email or phone. Please call into our shop to book rental costumes.

Hire agreement

• An adequate form of identification must be shown prior to picking up the costumes (ie. Document which shows both name and address)
• If you cancel a costume within 36 hours of hire date, Mardi Gras shall retain full deposit of each costume booked.
• Mardi gras will charge £5.00 for any other cancelled bookings regardless of notice.
• Any accessories lost or deemed damaged will be charged at cost to replace.
• Any costumes returned after the date stated will lose a proportion of deposit.
• I understand that goods are the property of Mardi Gras Fancy Dress hire. Failure to return the goods will result in legal action.
• I declare I have read and understand the terms and conditions of the hire agreement.

Deposit/bond - Must be paid in cash!

If you are unable to pay cash:

• The card holder must be the person who returns the costume.
• There will be a non refundable charge of £1.00 added.
• We do not accept cheques.
